I Need a Hero

Hey girls, what do you look for in a man? I’m 29 and feeling a bit like Bridget Jones! There are so many great guys in Salford but it’s still not easy finding just the right guy to settle down with. Any advice? How do you tell the difference between a good guy and a bad guy? I have my own ideas about this but I’d love to hear some other opinions. And with Christmas parties coming up, do you think hooking up with work colleagues is a good idea? What’s the best pub in the city for the best blokes? I reckon the Bull’s Head in Swinton is good and the Duke of York in Eccles but maybe you know somewhere better. And if you’re a bloke well maybe you’d like to have a little chat with me here on SalfordOnline. It’s good to talk! Roxy x

| Comment by Guest 25th July 2010 Richard didn’t gloat over the HPV victim or cancer victims or h-p Stephen Gately. Richard’s motivation is that people don’t suffer and die from the consequences of promiscuity or h-p activity and that’s why he speaks out to discourage wrong behaviour and encourage right behaviour. |

If he’d landed flat on his back straight off then even his ego couldn’t have saved him! Seriously, that he wasn’t killed instantly and that he’s on the way to a full recovery is a million-to-one. If you’re looking for the reason why Richard Carvath isn’t dead well… God knows. |

I have never had the displeasure of meeting someone who is so full of hatred for others based upon their racial origin or sexual orientation. I hope that none of the emergency services who allegedly treated him after his little ‘accident’ were of ethnic minority, gay, pro-choice, etc etc. God forbid! |

| Comment by Guest 23rd July 2010 Richard is now discharged from hospital. First he went to Cumberland Infirmary (Carlisle), then he was transferred to Newcastle General Hospital and then he was transferred to Salford Royal and last week he was discharged from there. In total he was in hospital for 36 days. Richard’s accident and the injuries he sustained are certainly not in any way ficticious! For the record the number for an old business of Richard’s on Yell and referred to below is defunct and has been for some time. |
| Comment by Guest 23rd July 2010 Well hurray and huzzah!, we thought for one nanosecond that Dickie had shuffled of the mortal coil, sadly I rang two hospitals in the Lake District area enquiring after a patient with “rock climbing injuries” only to be told that there was no record of such an incident/accident to a patient with that name. Could Richard perchance put on his site thanks to the hospital that nursed him through his darkest hours and possibly the name of the ward he was in so that we can send our thanks for his safe recovery or possibly send money to the hospital trust fund as a sign of our gratitude, c’mon Richard do not be so modest it does not become you. |

| Comment by Guest 21st July 2010 Could anybody tell me what hospital the sainted Richard is in, I have phoned Salford Royal, the nearest hospital and they have no patient by that name. If he is in the Lake District does anybody know of any hospitals where he will be staying with those “horrific injuries”, as I would like to pay him a visit to give him my regards and a get well soon card unless he has made a miracle recovery, would this be possible with those injurys even for a man of Richards lion like strength, I think we should be told. |

The medical professionals caring for Richard are pleased with his progress and they are predicting that he will walk again and also make a full recovery from all his other injuries. People who know Richard Carvath well know that he’s a hardman but even so we are amazed that he has survived what should have been a fatal fall. Richard gives all the credit for cheating death to God. Richard hopes to be able to update his websites and return to blogging in a few weeks. It’s on a site called “The Donkey Work” which seems to be for reviewing “massage parlours” etc. He urges people not to go to World Famous Babes but rather one called “Daniella’s” instead. What is he playing at? Why does he only have a specific vendetta against WFB? | Comment by Guest 21st November 2009 I suspect that Roxy is a Lib Dem smear tactic. It is highly likely that most of the anti-Carvath stuff on the web is Lib Dem in origin. They took note of Richard’s old remarks on Lib Dem blogs, which were obviously meant to be taken humorously, and borrowed the Roxy Redpants pseudonym to use now while using anonymous activists to write anonymous comments suggesting that Richard is Roxy, by referring to his old comments. But if you look at some of the things Roxy has said on SalfordOnline lately, although she seems to support Richard, lots of things she says do not ring true of any woman that Richard is likely to be close to. My theory makes perfect sense because the Salford Lib Dems have form and motive for such cynical shenanigans. We also know the number of times people have tried to pass off fabricated comments as Carvath quotes. There is definitely an organised smear campaign going on against Carvath on the web, and who stands to gain from that, and who has a web weasel for his right hand? Exactly! |

It’s supposedly someone you know. It’s clear that the last person’s supposed quote [“rip them to pieces”] is a lie.
